As part of their progressive advertising strategy, Warner Music UK asked Aug-it! to create Instagram and Snap Chat face filters for several of their recent artist releases. It’s a great way to get your target audience interacting with a campaign and spreading the word through stories – in just a few seconds.

We worked with Polydor Records by launching the new effect ‘Power’ for Ellie Goulding. Ellie shot the video at home on her iPhone and we took the footage and effects and turned them into an Instagram experience for her fans.

Polydor Records tasked us to build a brand new ‘Augmented Reality Music Remix’ concept for Instagram Stories for the release of 5 Seconds Of Summer’s new album ‘Calm’. The effect allows fans to remix the tracks ‘No Shame & Wildflower’ in real time.This new tech approach meant that we could build an interactive experience that worked by re-cutting the tracks in Ableton Studio, and then syncing it all up in 3D software.

Luke Ferrar (Head of Digital) said ‘the decision to give Aug-it! access to the band’s core studio sessions was not made lightly. But having worked with Ant before on other projects we were confident in his ability both as an AR designer and an audio producer.’
